Slumping with a T3

Upon good recommendation I purchased the Taurus T3 saw and made my first cuts which are fusing in the kiln as I type. The finished piece should be an accurate rendering of Lake Wallenpaupak, and if you've been there, you know there are many coves to turn in and out of. The T3 handled these cuts like a pro, really like cutting through thick butter. More to report in the AM.

To host or not to host...

I used to think I was pretty web savvy until templates became supposedly easy to use. Now I'm debating whether to pack in the traditional web hosting package with its "simple" interface in lieu of a blog/Etsy page. Thoughts? I'd really like to know.

Nic and Eileen weekend of inspiration...

We are still gushing over the weekend we spent with Nic and Eileen at http://hillhomeforge.blogspot.com , an artist's b&b treasure in Jim Thorpe...Mauch Chunk for you natives. Nic's a master iron and glass artist, and Eileen's a jeweler, weaver, cooker, and tons of other 'ers that I've failed to mention. Plus are they cool.

Eileen named one of her wire collection after me, wonder if the fact it's twisted had anything to do with that?

Studio Move

With the studio move, I was encouraged to post the Etsy autumn bead collection. See it at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5616760
